It begins with the design and prototyping phase, where engineers use C A D software to create a frame that is both lightweight and durable. The main frame is typically constructed from aluminum . These tubes are cut, bent, and shaped using C N C machines. The joints are then welded by either automated robots or skilled workers, ensuring high-strength connections. Meanwhile, the fabric components, including the seat, canopy, and harness pads, are produced in a sewing department. High-density polyester or cotton blends are cut by automated cutters and stitched together, with strict attention to flame-retardant standards and edge stitching to prevent fraying.
Next comes the assembly line. Workers install wheels with ball bearings and locking mechanisms onto the axles. The wheels are often made of E V A foam or rubber, and are tested for smooth rotation. The seat is attached to the frame using rivets or snap-locks, followed by the five-point harness system, which must pass pull-strength tests. Brake systems—usually linked to the rear wheels—are calibrated to engage and disengage smoothly.
Once fully assembled, every stroller moves to quality control. Inspectors check folding mechanisms, brake response, and stability on inclined surfaces. A random sample may undergo crash tests or dynamic durability tests on a rolling machine to simulate years of use.
Finally, the stroller is folded, packed into a carton with an instruction manual, and palletized for shipping.
